From Management to Stewardship

LATEST PROPOSAL

The original plan mimicked a corporate board. The new proposal aligns with our core belief: "Leadership is a calling, not a career."

We reduced 6 roles into 3 key Stewardship areas. This isn't just about efficiency; it's about structural sovereignty. By combining related functions, we reduce friction and ensure that strategic decisions are made with a holistic view of the mission.

Defining "Servant Leadership"

We rejected traditional corporate titles. In Project 535, titles define responsibility, not power.

Tier 1: Strategic

Stewards

Formerly "Directors". A Manager controls; a Steward protects.

The Shift: Term-limited (6 months). Authority is an entrustment from the people, not a permanent rank.
Tier 2: Operational

Custodians

Formerly "Staff/Managers". The Pulse of the Project.

The Shift: Trusted specialists who "keep the lights on." They safeguard the mission's assets and execute the work.
Tier 3: Local

Community Builders

Volunteers, creators, educators, and organizers on the ground in every state.

The Shift: Distributed leadership. No gatekeepers. Local action that scales nationally.
